PROGRAM OUTCOMES
The 21-22 fiscal year was the first year of Turning Point’s Dragonfly program, as we accepted our first referrals on September 20th 2021. In our first year, we were able to provide services to more than 380 unique clients served and we finished the year with 200 active clients, half of our contracted goal. While we did not meet our goal of 400 active clients, we are projected to reach this number when the program is fully staffed, as he we hit 50% of our active client goal while having the treatment team staffed at 50%.
While our volume of unique individuals served is a strong indicator that we will be serving more than 400 clients a year, it is our commitment to making children and families whole that really drives the program. In our first year, 100% of our youth (from 49 qualifying surveys) reported improving or maintaining some portion of their overall functioning, including 93% of them reporting improvement/maintenance with their symptoms of depression, anxiety, and/or oppositional behaviors.
Lastly, we are proud to report that 100% (440 total) of our assessments were submitted within 30 days, resulting in our youth and adults being able to begin individual therapy as quickly as possible. In addition to our timeliness of completing the initial assessment, the average time for our children/families to be contacted for initial services was less than 1 business day (0.07 days, to be exact).
In summation, our interdisciplinary team went above and beyond to help people in need, and will continue to focus on our mission of helping restore hope to our children and parents so that families can be made whole.
